took bus service 804 from monash campus to dandenong. had arranged with nara to meet him and his wife at dandenong market at 10.30 a.m. did not know that the bus journey was going to take nearly 35 minutes.
nara and his wife came over to melbourne on 25 march. they had booked on cathay pacific but flew on qantas to melbourne. they are staying with anu and bukkha at mulgrave, helping to look after the two grandchildren, lara and karl.
nara, who retired from the teaching service in 1989, spends his time shuttling between singapore and australia, sweden or germany, where his three married daughters have set up their homes.
