woodlands town garden

the woodlands town park will eventually be linked to the soon to be completed admiralty park and the future woodlands waterfront by a park connector.

more malaysian than singapore vehicles are seen in the car-park and hence you also see more malaysian visitors here. this is because of its proximity to the causeway.

sungei mandai kecil, a river that flows through the park, was integrated into the design of the park. part of this river that flows into the park was enlarged into a lake, irregularly-shaped for a natural look.

this park is unique in that it has a mix of chinese and malay architecture. there are chinese pavilions and malay huts spread out in this park.

from one end of the pond, where the amphitheatre is located, you can get a nice view of the hdb flats at marsiling.

an arch bridge, with willow trees at one end and coconut trees at the other, adds to the mix of cultures.

(do not mix up woodlands town garden with woodlands town park east)

Thanks for sharing this post about the park. I will take a look at this interesting place.

Does the long queues at the causeway affect access to this park?

this place is normally not affected by the long vehicles jam which occurs along woodlands road, unless there is a spillover.

take note, it is coupon parking at the car park.
