the mosque at jalan mempurong, sembawang which underwent upgrading last year reopens today (4 april 2008).
dr yaacob ibrahim, minister for the environment and water resources and minister-in-charge of muslim affairs and former deputy prime minister dr tony tan will grace the occasion.
the 48-year old mosque has been designated a national heritage site.
